Working with a team for an open source project requires countless interactions. And discord can be proved as a great tool to handle all the conversations at one place.
A good interaction tool can speed up coding and improve its quality as well.
Coding in different aspects of a project and sharing them with your team mates is a usual thing. But what makes it a productive or a time-consuming task is the way they have been shared within team members.
Suppose you wanna discuss on a particular code snippet for now and to discuss again on the same code snippet after a few days, may be you wanna share that discussion with only a few developers, without disturbing to other team mates.
Well, discord seems to be effective in such situations. You can create temporary chat sessions, called tickets, using which you can invite only selected people to chat with and even save the chat for future reference. Also, you can even share the chat with someone else, if you want.
Well this is only one of the many useful ways to use discord as a tool to contribute in not only open source projects, but also any kind of free and paid projects, as it provides all the required settings to do the job, precisely and securely.
